What it tastes like
The Blanco is soft and slightly sweet: citrus, cooked agave and a hint of vanilla, with very little burn. Purists sometimes call it too smooth, which is a complaint most of us can live with.
The billion-dollar bit
In 2017 drinks giant Diageo bought Casamigos for up to $1 billion — $700 million up front plus up to $300 million more depending on performance. Not bad for a hobby.
