When a comedian launches a tequila you brace yourself. Gran Coramino turned out to be a properly made spirit, created with Juan Domingo Beckmann, an 11th-generation tequila producer from the Cuervo family.

What it tastes like
Vanilla and caramel first, then dried fruit and a gentle spice, all wrapped up in a very smooth, light body. It is a crowd-pleaser — easy for tequila newcomers, interesting enough for the rest.
How it's made
The 100% agave tequila is aged in European oak, then finished in California Cabernet wine casks — a nod to Hart's home state. Finally it is slow-filtered into a cristalino, clear in colour but keeping the flavour of the barrel. It launched in May 2022.
How to drink it
Neat or on the rocks. It also makes a very smooth Paloma if you are feeling generous.
