What it tastes like

Honey and toffee, then dried fruit and a gentle warmth of spice. It is rich but not heavy — the whisky equivalent of a good armchair.

How it's made

'Double Cask' means it is matured in two kinds of sherry-seasoned oak: American oak, which brings vanilla and sweetness, and European oak, which adds dried fruit and spice.

How to drink it

Neat, with a few drops of water to open it up. Or after dinner, instead of dessert. Nobody will complain.

Quick questions

What does Double Cask mean?
